Exceptional Student Education

Students identified for this program have the need and ability to communicate, but lack the development of oral communication skills, possibly due to physically handicapping conditions. The program teaches the use of alternative communication techniques which are closely tied to the development of academic and social skills.
 

This specialized program has specific criteria for placement through the Exceptional Student Education Department.  This service is available to elementary age students in the district at a selected location.
