 Psychological Services

Elaine Fitzgerald, Ed.M., CAGS
Coordinator

Our department is made up of highly skilled and state certified school psychologists who are committed to serving children through the resources of Lee County Public Schools.  The staff is available and responsive to the needs of administrators, teachers and parents,  in an effort to improve each child’s ability to achieve.
The Lee County school psychologist’s primary responsibility is that of evaluation of children with potentially significant developmental, learning, behavioral and/or emotional needs, the nature of which appear to be impacting educational growth.

In addition, group counseling functions for specific ESE populations will begin in the 2006-2007 school year. Counseling psychologists will consult with teachers, guidance counselors and other support personnel on an ongoing basis.

It is our hope that this web page will be helpful to those who are seeking information regarding his or her child or student.
